Soul Print

I am back from Tehran.

But I left part of my soul at a small cute apartment near Maydooneh Ekhtiareh with them, and part of it at Unit One on the third floor of International 54-story Borjeh Tehran at her ultimate chic 300-meter apartment, some of it at Sorkhaab, some by the beach at Kish Island where the moon made love to the warm waters of Persian Gulf... and of course, a tiny bit of it in the midst of traffic and chaos of the city.

Then I realized I had left part of my soul on the dirty streets of Bombay at the age of 10, and most of my childhood soul at our Villa in Shomal by the Caspian Sea; part of it on the tiny streets in Bologna, Italy and some of it on the beautiful campus of UCLA where Royce Hall and Powell meet, some at my LA apartment and some at the quad of Loyola Marymount...

I have divided my soul and left parts of it at every place I have loved. This way whenever I feel the longing to revisit those places, I can just reconnect with my soul.
